PROJECT: In Explanation of the Book

In Explanation of the Book is a short, silent video, created for the library at Camberwell College.  The video shows a close-up of each of the artists handling a book that they are describing.  As the video is silent, sub-titles provide an overview of what the person is saying, in short, clipped sentences. The subtitles re written in a clinical way in the hope that it will draw attention to the way in which we engage with books in a physical way.
