VIDEO: An Average Life in a State of Motion
Finished at the end of 2009, after several years of work (on and off!), An Average Life in a State of Motion is a short film, comprised of several smaller films, which aims to capture small moments of realisation, or small experiences in life; experiences which somehow seemed significant.
I always wanted to make work that was somehow like the short stories of Raymond Carver (which seem like small, momentary windows on people's worlds) and this video seems to come the closest to his work, althought it is not quite in the same league (ha!).
